DESCRIPTION

This project is an exercise in redesigning a defunct brand. I chose the historic airline TWA. TWA was known for their innovative advances in air transportation. This project imagined that innovation going outside the realm of flight. It explored the feasibility and potential visual language of a TWA that continues to transport people and change lives.


CONCEPT

From the 80s until the end of the company, TWA’s yellow and red color palette was a large part of their identity. This redesign keeps that nostalgic connection by keeping both colors plus adding a blue to the palette in the process, attributing it to flight and assigning the red to land transportation and services.
